All frames feature double wall support with aluminum inserts in critical stress points like seat backs and legs. Single wall tubing in these structural parts can be extremely vulnerable in contract use. |
Special helia-arc equipment is used to produce full circumference welds. Each structural tube member is cut to fit in a flush match with the main frame. This "fish mouth" cut makes for a tight joint and secure weld. More time and effort in welding gives the furniture extended life for contract performance. |
Exposed aluminum tube ends on all Leisure Lite items are also spun closed wherever possible. This ensures frame integrity and reduces operator liability from personal injury. Nylon plugs and caps can fall out, leaving a sharp exposed tube end. |

Our
exclusive single-wrap system utilizes rustproof grommets,
making for a stronger frame attachment and easy
vinyl strap reversal or replacement. This feature
keeps the furniture in service and looking good, as
all maintenance can be accomplished on-site.
|
All
Leisure Lite sun cots are constructed with a specially
designed offset on both sides of the adjustable
back. This offset prevents a hand injury when the
cot back is inadvertently dropped on the frame. This
feature reduces the liability and incidence of personal
injury.
|
All sun cot and chaise styles feature a solid aluminum adjustment plate, which supports the adjustable back, attached to the frame with commercial rivets. Nylon back plates are designed for residential use and will not stand up to rigorous contract use. |
